David Friedson, the founder and president of STAR, is the chairman of the Board of Windemere Durable Holdings, a New York Stock Exchange consumer products company. His other philanthropic activities include board memberships on the public Television Station WLRN in Southern Florida and the University of Miami School of Business Advisory Board. He is a resident of New York and Miami.
