STAR is actively reaching out to communities and businesses to encourage
their involvement in emergency planning and evacuation, as well as
nuclear security and insurance legislation now under consideration by
the U.S. Congress. By Expanding Citizen Activism and the Local Political
Support Base we will:

Provide blueprints for activists for public meetings with federal, state, and local officials responsible for public safety.

Provide written and technical resources to local groups and individuals to strengthen effectiveness.
